No More Wisdom Tooth

021007 - Finally I took out all my wisdom tooth, no need to fret about them next time when I'm older. But this time, it was a bad experience for the anaesthesia the dentist gave me were not effective. The needle insertion was quite painful and the aftermath of the surgery was a swollen left cheek which until today is still there. Different dentist as the one who took out my first two but I guess there's always a price to pay haha and the medical leave was also worth the pain. Taking 4 wisdom tooth out cost me around SGD$800 plus, that's kinda expensive. So guys, if you're in the army, its advisable if you would really take them out when you're still medically covered if not when you're out of the army, its really a burden on your wallet and it might not be easy to take them out when you're older. The healing process could be longer as mentioned by my dentist. Well since its free just go do it.

October - Its finally October, what a long september I've had... Audits, Poster Design, Wisdom Tooth Extraction and more Medical Appointments... Now that its October, its time to wake up, time to smell the fresh air of freedom, time to break some bones, time to get in shape, time to think about $, time to ORD... Will be going for my second wisdom tooth extraction in a couple of hours' time, time for soft food again, time for serial dramas and animes, time for solace... I'm gonna get OctobeReD.

Wisdom Tooth - You have to take them out if not you will have a hard time eating. Simple as that and since I'm in the army, might as well get them out when its free. On friday, I got two of my four wisdom tooth out at Alexandra Hospital. Contrary to others had told me about the pain, I did not experience any pain at all. Had my fears about local anaesthesia as I was afraid that it won't be enough to pull me through but in the end I think I ended up sleeping without knowing that my tooth had been taken out. Kudos to the surgeons there and now I just hope that I will heal well with no complications at all. 2nd October will be the next extraction and mean while, I need to rest...

Alexandra's still the best

Have been busy these few days with medical appointments that's why haven't been to camp. So far of all the hospitals I went to, Alexandra's still the best in terms of environment and waiting time. SGH or TTSH were either too much like a hospital, makes you want to fall sick there, or the waiting time is horrendous. You could wait for like 2hours plus for a 15min consultation with the doctor. The concept of Alexandra is pretty much like a resort with lots of greenery around and helpful staffs who are always there to ask "What can I help you?". The place is also not too crowded with patients unlike the above mentioned two. So next time if I have any medical appointments or in need to look for a solution to my medical problems, Alexandra would be my choice. My time in SAF is going to be over soon so I guess I want to make sure that I can ORD in one piece with no medical worries in the future.
