iPod Nano 2007 + iPod Classic + iPod Touch

Apple just announced that they would release a new iPod Model - iPod Touch which is similar to iPhone with the 3.5" touch screen, OS X, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Safari installed. The only difference is that you cannot make phone calls because its not a phone and there is no in-built camera.

There will be 8GB and 16GB version avaiable with price US$299 and US$399 (approximately SGD$455 and SGD$607). iPod touch also has a built-in ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the display’s brightness. iPod touch features up to 22 hours of audio playback and up to five hours of video playback.

At the same time, Apple also upgraded the iPod and iPod nano, the "old" iPod got a facelift in which the new 6G version features a full metal design and is starting at 80GB and 160GB with a price tag of US$249 and US$349 respectively (approximately SGD$379 and SGD$531). The 160GB version features 40 hours of battery audio playback and 7 hours of video. The nano is complete with a 320X240 screen and capable of doing everything the old 5.5G version can do. 4GB and 8GB are priced at US$149 and US$199 respectively (approximately SGD$226 and SGD$302). Its time for a revolution and if the iPhone is not enough, these three new pieces will definitely rock the consumers' world.
