Jay-Z's American Gangster

Jay-Z - His tenth studion album was released on November 6th 2007. Its his first concept album which was inspired by the film of the same name. What's rad about this album is that almost every song is based on a specific scene from the film and they do contain dialogues from the film. With guests like Nas, Lil' Wayne and Pharrell, this album will definitely not go wrong. According to early projections from Nielsen Soundscan, Jay-Z has sold 179000 copies of American Gangster during its first day and he is on pace to score his tenth No.1 album which will tie him with Elvis Presley as the artist with the second highest amount of No.1 debuts in history. This album is really what I've been looking forward to after seeing the movie trailer and Jigga definitely delivered. Currently I'm diggin' the track Roc Boys which is a killer and Blue Magic which is another you know what you would get if you put Pharrell into the mix kind of track. Wasn't Jay-Z suppose to be in retirement?
