Enchanted

Synopsis - The tale follows the beautiful princess Giselle as she is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical animated land--and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer who has come to her aid--even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince back home--she has to wonder: can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?

Review - This is Disney meets the real world. Very fresh concept, something different from the last animation crossover to the real world since Roger Rabbit. Anyway the story is a typical Disney film but still entertaining with its visuals and humour. The CGI chipmunk is a plus point for the movie as it constantly kept the cinema filled with laughter and joy. The values of love was also part of the theme for this film, can love be happily ever after? In the real world and the Disney world, it can really take on different meanings as the characters found out. Roles of the male and female counterparts were also switched when the female lead went to rescue the dean in distress haha. Be enchanted by the songs in the film too, very pleasant to the ears and definitely a keeper.
