RIP SLYME's FUN FAIR

FUN FAIR - If you like Orange Range or M-Flo, this band will definitely be in your playlist very soon. Rip Slyme is a Japanese hip hop group. It is composed of 4 MCs; Ryo-Z, Ilmari, Pes & Su, and 1 DJ, Fumiya. Their sound derives its influences from old school hip hop and other hip hop such as The Pharcyde, De La Soul, Public Enemy, Jurassic 5, the Beastie Boys, DJ Premier, Leaders of the New School. Their latest album Fun Fair features the same hip hop you will hear in their previous albums but with more futuristic bites to it. Earlier on I posted a video from their Fun Fair album which was Speed King. One of the reason I put my attention to Rip Slyme was because of that video. Although most Japanese hip hop lyrics make no sense, their catchy tunes and rhythmic flow will make up for that loss. If you like Jap music, this is one band to check out.
