Converse x Dr. Romanelli - 1HUND(RED) Chuck Taylor

PROJECT (RED) - Part of the AIDS/HIV drive in Africa which U2 lead singer Bono and Bobby Shriver are addressing (you know that red motorola phone that many celebrities carry). Yea so Converse launched a new initiative to both benefit the project and commemorate Converse's 100th anniversary (Oh my I didn't know Converse is that old). So one of the initiatives is to create sneakers and by hooking up with talented and self taught Darren Romanelli, they've come out with this really sic and wow sneaker. For this sneaker as you can see, the sneaker is covered with plasters and the clear sole is exposed with an imprint of human skull. Very cool and the interior is imprinted with graphics of a human dissection. Sounds gross but the sneaker is really relating to its cause and its a really good and direct representation of PROJECT (RED). I seriously didn't think that Converse would do something of this sort to its sneakers. Hats off to Dr. Romanelli and Converse. Sic stuff. Available at We Sold Out.
