Tinker Hatfield - Pompidou Centre and Nike Air Max

Tinker Hatfield - If you love Nike Air Max (Air Max look awesome with 3/4 pants), you definitely have to thank this legend here. Tinker Hatfield was an architect who started working at Nike designing showrooms but later ended up as VP of design. He was the man behind the design of the now classic Nike Air Max shoes. In the video, he explained how Renzo Piano's Pompidou Centre helped him pushed the design of the Air Max and all the struggles he went through to convince people of his revolutionary design in terms of colour and exposed cushioning system. Very inspiring and enjoyable to watch how architecture can influence product designs. I wanna be like him!
