etree - From installations to an interior object, Dutch designer Coen Hoogstraten believes that technology is a serving role as a sub function in a product and should be put away behind closed housings. By getting them out of this functional role and into a serving context to the technology, will we be seeing in their full glory. The result from this transformation is a cropped version of the tree with the base, branches and leaves as key elements. The wires that power the leaves are strengthened into bendable branches which change the appearance of the lamp. Click here for more info.
