Sessantuna - An idea to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy. 61 icons that only resemble each other and remain totally different. 61 tables to represent the year 1861 in which the Italian Unification was completed. Each is made in resin in the colours of the iconic Italian flag. 5 of them are decorated by Pesce with significant historical phrases and are to be auctioned in London and New York till June 2011. The remainder will be sold through a silent online auction, ending 2 June 2011 and customised with a phrase chosen by each purchaser. Something to help Europe in crisis? Maybe.
