Project Runway 4

Project Runway 4 - Oh yea I do watch fashion shows and this is one of my guilty pleasures. This season of Project Runway truly blew me away. I mean the designers were really talented, from designing everyday wears to event wears, you can pick anyone of them to make you an outfit. To pump up the level, the challenges they had to face were also up another level. From designing an outfit for a male newscaster for him to wear infront of the television to designing a wrestling costume for a WWE Diva, the challenges really stretched each and everyone of them throughout, both mentally and physically. But it all comes down to fashion week where it all mattered and I believe it was the toughest challenge of all, designing 12 looks which had to be cohesive and jaw dropping. I must admit that I didn't really liked the winner of this season, Christian Siriano in the beginning because he was really being a celebrity himself in the show but as the show went on, you could really see how talented he was. Knocking my chair off with his eye catching outfits, really amazing stuff coming out from his hands and I cannot believe that he could sew faster than anyone else in the show with the tender age of 21. He is really the deal to such an extent that in a March 2008 interview, Runway mentor Tim Gunn stated of Siriano, "I really believe he is his generation's Marc Jacobs. I really do. We have found America's next great fashion designer... I'm confident." From someone who hated him from the first episode to really adore him as a designer, I must say that he is really something different from the others and I love his hair.
