Jewish Museum Berlin by Daniel Libeskind

Jewish Museum - One of my tutor's favourite architecture of all time. It is a bridge to connect the gap between history and today using architecture as its best exhibit. Concepts of absence, emptiness and invisibility like the disappearance of Jewish culture in the city are imbued into this museum. The architecture generated such an impact that there are no exhibits at all in the museum after its first year opening because the museum itself is already the best exhibit to showcase the sufferings of the Jews during the Holocaust. Definitely a piece of architecture to check out if you are in Berlin. Check out the videos for more information or click here.
