Reebok x John Maeda - Timetanium

John Maeda - Artist, graphic designer, computer scientist, mathematician and currently professor at prestigious MIT Media Lab, he is renowned for his uncanny ability to bridge the jumbled world of art with mathematics. So it seems fitting for Reebok to approach him for a special collaboration. The fruit - Reebok Timetanium. Based on Reebok Ventilator, the exterior of Timetanium featured original graphics by Maeda, created not with the assistance of already available design software, but from scratch utilizing Maeda’s original mathematic algorithms and computer codes. The interior lining of the Timetanium reflects the complexity of this process, with the original, hand-written calculations by Maeda, printed on. Set to release on Tuesday, November 13th, there will only be 100 pairs available worldwide. You can purchase them exclusively through Rbk Custom’s website. Very chic I must say, another good move from Reebok, keep it up!
